Trio Il Volo specializes in giving the old a new look.

The group, known for their brand of pop opera affectionately dubbed “popera,” once again made the secular genre mainstream. Now, Il Volo’s latest effort brings beloved songwriter’s famous soundtracks “Cinema Paradiso” and “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly” Ennio Morricone to life with vocals on it.

On November 5, the singers released the album “Il Volo Sings Morricone” and have since announced an American tour with performances in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania to accompany the new 14-track offering.

To see international superstars Piero Barone, Gianluca Ginoble and Ignazio Boschetto in concert in 2022, full details are below.

Where can I buy tickets to see Il Volo?

Tickets to see the three singers will officially release to the general public on Friday, November 12 at 10 a.m. EST on Ticketmaster. But after scanning the aftermarket, we found tickets for shows readily available on StubHub, TicketCity, SeatGeek, TicketNetwork, and Vivid Seats.

It is common for speculative notes to appear first in the secondary market, but be aware that prices can be more expensive than when they go on sale to the general public.

Where will Il Volo play on his tour?

The “Il Volo Sings Morricone” tour will see the group bring their brand of pop opera to more than 20 venues from March to April 2022.

Il Volo is scheduled to perform at Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 18. The cheapest tickets we could get were $ 149 before fees.

The following night, March 19, the three will bring the Spirit of Morricone to the New Jersey Borgata Event Center in Atlantic City. The cheapest seats were $ 129 before fees.

Shortly thereafter, international superstars stopped by the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, PA on March 23. The cheapest seats listed were for $ 143 before fees.

All prices were found at the time of posting and are subject to fluctuation.

The official schedule, with dates and times, is here.

Who collaborated with the group on “Il Volo Sings Morricone?

Il Volo worked closely with Andrea, the son of Ennio Morricone, on the album. Young Morricone wrote the lyrics to accompany his father’s music specifically for Barone, Ginoble and Boschetto. He also wrote the unreleased track “I colori dell’amore” (“The colors of love”) for the group.
