Dominique morisseau (Dramaturge) is the author of the Detroit Project (A cycle of 3 games), which includes the following games: Skeleton crew (Atlantic Theater Company), Paradise blue (Signature Theater), and Detroit ’67 (Public Theater, Harlem Classical Theater and NBT). Additional games include: Pipeline (Lincoln Center Theater), Baby sunset (LAByrinth Theater); Blood at the root (National Black Theater) and Follow me to Nellie’s (Stages of the first). She is also the Tony-nominated writer for the new Broadway musical. Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of Temptations (Imperial Theater). Dominique is an alumnus of the Public Theater Emerging Writer’s Group, the Women’s Project Lab, and the Lark Playwrights Workshop, and has developed work at the Sundance Lab, the Williamstown Theater Festival, and the Eugene O’Neill Playwrights Conference. She was recently a co-producer of the Showtime series Shameless (3 seasons).
